A tour of the Hudson Valley Transportation Management Center will be offered at the conclusion of the workshop.

Introducing New ITS-NY Distinguished Member Award…Call for Nominations…

ITS-NY has established a NEW Award Category for 2012! The ITS-NY Distinguished Member Award will be announced during our upcoming June 7-8, 2012 Nineteenth Annual Meeting in Saratoga Springs, NY, and will recognize that person who has significantly contributed to: (1) the design, management, and/or undertaking of ITS projects/programs in New York, or (2) the direct fulfillment of ITS-NY goals and objectives. Nominations are due by April 6, 2012.  Click Here for the full Announcement including nomination form and instructions, or for a full-screen view visit the Library Page.

NYSDOT and NYSERDA Award Transportation-Related Initiatives to Reduce Emissions...Ten organizations and universities have been chosen by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to receive funding to advance research on energy-saving technologies designed to reduce carbon-dioxide emissions in New York State. The NYSDOT has funded $700,000 and NYSERDA has funded $400,000 toward these transportation-related initiatives, which leveraged an additional $1.3 million in recipient cost-sharing. The goal of the program is to reduce energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in all facets of transportation in the state. To see the full Press Release, Click Here.
