ITS-NY AWARDS COMMITTEE
The ITS-NY Awards Committee is a special committee of the ITS-NY Board of Directors. The Awards Committee is charged with reviewing all nominations and selecting those members and projects based on well-defined criteria. Awards are honored for ‘Outstanding ITS Project of the Year’, ‘Outstanding ITS Project’, ‘Dotty Drinkwater Distinguished Member’, ‘Presidential Appreciation’, and ‘Lifetime Achievement’. Inductees are bestowed into the ITS-NY Hall of Fame.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE
The ITS-NY Education Committee focuses upon professional capacity building for ITS-NY members and the ITS-NY community, and encourages students and young professionals to pursue careers in ITS and related fields. The Committee sponsored a webinar on ITS-Leveraging Physical Security Information Management Technology, and is now planning future webinars as an ITS-NY Membership Benefit. The overall activities of ITS-NY, such as its annual Best Student ITS Essay Contest in conjunction with the ITS-NY Annual Meeting and Technology Exhibition, are reinforced by the activities of the Education Committee.
